Schedule Sunday 20 June 2021

Indizionario
10.00 / 13.35 / 23.00
A reminder of survival and rebirth in Altofest through voices that decompress the existing. From meaning to signifier, words that unveil and narrate the choral work of a listening city.

Notes from the avian world
Various moments in the day:
We found ourselves becoming weaver birds in order to compose nests from the threads, branches and sound fragments that we collected or were given to us from day to day. We have decided from day to day to let you discover a little more about this species we have turned into.

Notebooks: Many small notes from the avian world. The texts read are taken from the collection “I Taccuini di Airone” by Giorgio Mondadori e Associati published from 1983 to 1984 with a weekly issue. Translation and adaptation by Maurilio Cipparone and Francesco Petretti. One copy L. 1500.

The secret language of cats
In response to the Piccole note dal mondo aviario, to learn how to communicate with our occasional guests Houdini (black fur) and Super Radio Gattone (tigrato a.k.a Lo stregatto), we follow the instructions in the pamphlet “Cat Sounds – Cat Vocalitions Types: the Secret language of cats” by Susanne Schötz.

Languages, like plant and animal species, are becoming extinct. There are about three thousand languages in danger of extinction. Alongside these endangered languages there are new ones that are born and still others that are created, invented. Radio Leib devotes a moment to invented languages, also called “artificial” languages. For this reason, we have invited our “artificial” friends to the studio to help us translate the texts.
